Day I - San Marino
Arrive and check-in to your hotel. Afternoon: San Marino: visit the small republic, the oldest in Europe founded in 301 AC, which is perched on the top of Mount Titano (700 meters above sea level). During the visit of the city walls, the strongholds, there are breath taking views of the plains below. Dinner in hotel.
Day II - Ravenna
Morning: breakfast. Ravenna is a city that has eight monuments in the Unesco’s World Heritage list and is home of the rests of Italy’s Italy’s most important important poet Dante. Having been the last capital capital of the Western Western Roman Empire, Empire, capital capital of the Kingdom of Goths and capital of the European territory of the Eastern Roman Empire it conserves the richest heritage of mosaics of humanity that date back to the 5th and 6th century AC. Of extraordinary beauty are the many churches and Baptisteries. Afternoon: continue to visit the delights of the beautiful city. Dinner in hotel.
Day III - Pesaro Urbino
Morning: breakfast. Pesaro, visit the city centre of Roman origins, the Cathedral with it splendid mosaics, eighteenth century Olivieri Palace, home of the Rossini foundation, the imposing Costanza fortress and the theatre dedicated to Gioacchino Rossini. Afternoon: Urbino, visit to the Ducal Palace which is home of the Marche Gallery, roughly 80 halls with masterpieces of the 14th and 17th century. Visit the medieval quarter, the numerous works of art of which the noble palaces and churches are full, the birthplace of Raffaello. Dinner in hotel.
Day IV - Fano
Morning: breakfast. After breakfast time free to visit medieval Urbino. Afternoon: visit the city of Fano which conserves the ancient street reticulum and an efficient sewerage system that goes back to the times of Emperor Augustus. The city walls, with robust cylindrical towers and the imposing Augustus gate are the ancient sights not to miss. Dinner in hotel.
